The picturesque Charles Bridge in Prague was built in the 14th century on the orders of King Charles IV, with the various statues added later, in the 17th century. It was built using stone arches and was the only way to cross the Vltava River until 1841, making Prague an important destination for trade between Eastern and Western Europe. The bridge is perfect for a nice stroll and offers beautiful views of the city.
