St. Cloud Regional Airport
St. Cloud Regional Airport, or STC, is a public-use airport in Sherburne County, Minnesota. Categorized by the FAA as a primary commercial service airport, STC is mainly used for general aviation, although it serves private, commercial, corporate, cargo, and military operations. For the 12 months ending September 30th, 2015, the airport had 28,740 aircraft operations, 84% general aviation, 13% military, 1% air taxi, and 2% scheduled commercial. In January 2017, there were 92 aircraft based at the airport, 63 single-engine, 12 military, 13 jets, three multi-engine, and one helicopter. The airport covers 1,414 acres and has two runways: 13/31, which is 7,500 by 150 feet (concrete), and 5/23, which is 3,000 by 75 feet (asphalt).
Airport history
STC originated on July 24th, 1970, as a replacement for Whitney Airport, which had served the city since 1935. Past airline service included Delta Connection and Skywest Airlines, with Allegiant Airlines (the current airline serving STC) beginning service in 2012.

The airport is located five miles east of the central business district of the City of St. Cloud.
