Dalaman Airport
Dalaman Airport, or DLM to the IATA and LTBS to the ICAO, is an international airport and one of three serving south-west Turkey. In 2018 there were 4,559,246 passengers served. There is one runway: 01L/19R, which is 9,842 (concrete).
Airport history
DLM originated in 1976 when construction began, and it opened in 1981. Considered an aerodrome initially, it was promoted to airport status in 1989. At some point, the Dalaman International Terminal building was constructed at $150 million, with 12 boarding gates and eight air bridges. It is the third-largest terminal building in Turkey. Moreover, the apron was also redesigned. It can now handle 10 million annual passengers.

The airport is located three miles south of the Dalaman town center.

- DLM is owned by the General Directorate of State Airports (DHMİ) and is operated by the YDA Airport Investment and Management, Inc.
- There are two CIP Lounge locations at DLM, one for international flights and the other for domestic flights.
- FBOs at DLM include Gozen Air Services, Bilen Air Services, and Merkur Aviation.
