Milas–Bodrum Airport
Milas–Bodrum Airport, or BJV to the IATA and LTFE to the ICAO, is an international airport serving the Turkish towns of Milas and Bodrum. It is operated by TAV and plays an important role in transportation to various tourism centers in Turkey. In the 12 months before the end of September 2015, the airport served 3,412,000 passengers. There are two runways: 10L/28R, which is 9,842 feet (concrete); and 10R/28L, which is 8,202 feet.
Airport history
BJV originated in 1997, at which point it was opened to international traffic. In 2000, a new terminal building was completed. In 2012, a larger still terminal building was opened. The old terminal building was then converted to a domestic terminal, with the newer, larger building serving as an international terminal. It features additional seating areas and improvements to the check-in area. Moreover, two outdoor smoking areas with access from the departure lounge.

The airport is located 36 kilometers northeast of Bodrum and 16 kilometers south of Milas.

- Although BJZV serves roughly 2.5 million passengers annually, it can serve almost 4 million passengers.
- The airport is primarily busy during the peak summer months, with most passengers arriving from metropolitan cities in Europe.
- There is a general aviation terminal east of the international terminal. Here, security, customs, and passport procedures can be undertaken without long queues.
