Immerse yourself into the rich history, beauty and culture of Britain’s most prestigious homes; from the sweeping landscapes to the fascinating stories behind these estates, this experience promises to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Guests will be granted rare, privileged access to personally guided tours with the estate owners, exceptional hospitality and elegant dining within state dining rooms, each moment designed to be utterly unforgettable.

A tour of British heritage

Day 1 - Hatfield Park & Belvoir Castle - 30th September 2025

 

Morning: Arrive at Hatfield Park for morning tea and coffee, followed by a guided tour of the archives and the historic house - home to the Cecil family since 1607.

Lunch: Enjoy a relaxed fireside lunch in The Lower Solar Room, followed by time to explore the gardens at your own pace.

Evening: In the evening, arrive at Belvoir Castle, where guests will be warmly welcomed by the Duke and Duchess of Rutland for a private tour, a sumptuous dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 2 - Grimsthorpe Castle & Belvoir Castle - 1st October 2025

 

Morning: Start the day with breakfast in the private dining room of Belvoir Castle, followed by an exclusive tour led by the Duke of Rutland. Guests will then be chauffeured to Grimsthorpe Castle and embark on a tour of this historic home, which has been in the same family since 1516.

Lunch: Enjoy a leisurely lunch in Lady Willoughby’s Private Dining Room, followed by time to explore the extensive parkland at your own pace.

Evening: Guests will return to Belvoir Castle for the evening. After a sumptuous three-course dinner, guests will unwind for the evening, getting ready for exciting days ahead.

 

Day 3 - Belvoir Castle & Haddon Hall - 2nd October 2025

 

Morning: Breakfast is served in the State Dining Room of Belvoir Castle before guests are chauffeured to Haddon Hall.

Lunch: Upon arrival, guests will enjoy lunch with Lord and Lady Edward Manners, followed by a private tour of the castle and its surrounding ancient parkland.

Evening: In the evening, guests will return to the Peacock at Rowsley for a delicious supper before retiring to their rooms for the night.

 

Day 4 - Knowsley Hall - 3rd October 2025

 

Morning: Embark on a scenic drive to Knowsley Hall, just under two hours from Haddon, before settling in and unpacking.

Lunch: Guests will enjoy lunch in one of Knowsley Hall’s stunning State Rooms, followed by a bespoke tour exploring 600 years of Stanley family history. Highlights include Edward Lear’s watercolours, the Earls’ links to Shakespeare (including the 4th Folio), and the remarkable stories of the Derby women. Guests will then have time to enjoy the gardens and prepare for dinner.

Evening: Guests will dine with Lord and Lady Derby in the State Dining Room, before retiring to their bedrooms for the final night.

 

4th October 2025

Morning: After a delicious breakfast and some final exploration at their leisure, guests will be driven to their onward travel by flight or train.
