The historical capital of Scotland, Edinburgh, is a city that features a multitude of hills, with some of the most prominent architecture residing therein. Of note are Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile (linking the Castle with Holyroodhouse, where Mary Queen of Scots once lived), several fine art galleries and museums, and the Calton Hill and Arthur's Seat vantage points for picture-perfect viewing opportunities of the city.
