Southampton

A port city on England's south coast, Southampton was the port from which the Titanic departed. The city now features an interactive model of the vessel at SeaCity Museum, which is a fantastic exposé on the city's connection to the sea. Many of the world's largest cruise liners continue to dock at the port to this day. Other attractions include the Solent Sky aviation museum, celebrating local aviation manufacturer Supermarine, creator of the famed Spitfire fighter planes, and the Tudor House, a 15th-century house that now serves as a museum.
