Tivat

Tivat lies on Montenegro's Bay of Kotor, and it was turned into a luxury destination when Canadian gold magnate Peter Munk arrived with plans to build Porto Montenegro, a world leader in super yachts and the only platinum-rated marina in the world. Not only is the marina a destination for all manner of luxury sea vessels, but it is also a destination for high-end resorts, restaurants, and shopping. Other attractions include water sports activities and several abandoned fortresses in the region.
